Pagani Zonda Roadster (2003 - 2006)

The first roadster in the Pagani family. It was introduced in the Genera motor show (Switzerland) in 2003.

It keeps the Zonda S 7.3 underpinnings but loses the fixed roof in favor of a removable one with its upper part in carbon fiber and lower one that contains the rear window made of cloth.

The torsional rigidity of the chassis has to be increased due to the loss of the roof, but incredibly this is achieved without an increase in the overall weight of the vehicle.

Two semi-circular anti-roll bars are added behind the seats to protect the occupants in the event of a rollover which also serve to alleviate the increased tension in the back of the chassis.

11 units of the Roadster were built until 2006.
