Pagani Zonda F (2005 - 2008)

The F is an exercise of major re-engineering of the Zonda platform, practically a new car, and as usual, the F was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show (Switzerland) in 2005.

Horacio names his best creation Zonda F after Juan Manuel Fangio, the Argentinian Formula 1 driver, whom Horacio considers his idol and close friend.

The changes in the exterior with the Zonda S 7.3 are subtle but put together compose a much more attractive and slender silhouette apart from making the F much more aerodynamic and capable.

In the front, the rear cover lid is longer and there are new air intakes and are flanked by a redesigned fog lights, the main lights become triple to incorporate the side indicators. Horacio took inspiration from a woman's eye when it came to shape the side mirrors, still present in current Paganis. These are also relocated from the A pillar to the front flanks.

In the back, in the clam shell-shaped rear the transparent window introduced in the Roadster that lets see the V12 of AMG origin through is modified. The massive rear wing changes its design once again to be a one-piece that covers nearly the whole width of the car, new cooling ducts are opened for the engine to breathe and the tail lights are too redesigned, adopting a more modern and attractive triple design.

For the first time a Pagani is designed in the wind tunnel, achieving a much lower aerodynamic coefficient (CX) and the appearing of ground effect.

The engine maintains its 7.3 liters of capacity, but its internal components are completely redesigned and its power raises to 602 horsepower (594 bhp), apart from having a much pointier and full power curve.

Carboceramic brakes signed by Brembo are added as an option for the first time.

25 examples of the F and F Clubsport were built in total, the most popular Pagani model to that date.
